2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab (17x12mm). Base engraved with a sun-disk with uraei on top and two symmetrical representations of the goddess Maat seated vis-à-vis. Intact but fairly worn, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
