New Kingdom. Circa 1550-1075 BC. Steatite scarab (21x17mm). Base engraved with a hunting scene: the Pharaoh on a chariot holding a bow and chasing an antelope. Back damaged, once glazed, pierced for mounting. Deeply carved base.
