ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 16.89 g, 11h). New Style coinage. Polycharm–, Nikog–, and Protim–, magistrates. Struck 133/2 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields, winged kerykeion to left, Λ on amphora, ΣΦ below; all within wreath. Thompson 380d = de Luynes 2109 corr. (letter on amphora; same dies). VF, toned, some die wear on obverse.
