PARTHIA, Kings of. Artabanos II. 10-38 AD. Billon Tetradrachm (13.45 gm). Diademed and draped facing bust / King on horseback left, receiving palm from Tyche who stands right; T before king's head, LH right, monogram between horse's legs. Shore 334 var. (monogram); Sellwood 63.3 var. (same). Toned VF, exceptional for this issue, light graffiti on obverse. Rare. ($1000)
Apparently an unrecorded monogram variety. Both Shore and Sellwood show the monogram clearly as a PA monogram, but this coin has PD.
