THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 405/0-370 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 5.91 g, 9h). Early facing head type. Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, wearing hair band inscribed ΓEY, pendant earring, and necklace; [tiny IA above head], garment clasp on her right shoulder / Horse right, about to roll; tiny ΛI below belly. L-S Group 3, Head Type 14, dies O31/R3, a (this coin); BCD Thessaly II 205 (this coin). Good VF, attractive old collection toning, minor scratches on reverse. An impressive specimen, and the only example cited in L-S for this die combination.
