ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.91 g, 11h). New Style coinage. Polycharm(os), Nikog(enes), and Demosthe(nes), magistrates. Struck 133/2 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields, winged kerykeion to left, B on amphora, ΔI below; all within wreath. Thompson 376a (same obv. die). Near EF, lightly toned, minor die shift on the reverse.
