LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 443-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 20mm, 7.79 g 11). Head of Athena to right, wearing Attic helmet adorned with an olive wreath. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ Bull moving slowly to right, his head lowered; in exergue, fish to right. HN III 1775. SNG ANS 929. Nicely toned and of good style. Some very minor die rust on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
