D N LEO PERPET AVG Diademed bust of Leo I to left, wearing consular robes; holding mappa in his right hand and long cross-tipped scepter in his left. Rev. VICTORIA AVCCC / THSOB Nimbate emperor enthroned facing, holding mappa in his right hand and cross-tipped scepter in his left; to left, star. Depeyrot 58/1. RIC 621. Rare. An interesting and unusual issue. Obverse slightly double-struck and with some minor marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
