Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ As (25mm, 10.26 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 124-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head right / COS III above, S C in exergue, galley rowed right by three oarsmen: at the stern is a hortator and an arched cabin under a curved aplustre, at the bow a mast raking forward with flag and sails attached. RIC II 673. VF, green and brown patina, areas of roughness.
