Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.16 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate and draped bust left / FELICITATI above, AVGVSTI in exergue, galley rowed left by four oarsmen: at the bow a mast raking forward with flag and sails attached, at the stern is a hortator and an arched cabin under a curved aplustre. RIC II 240 var. (bust type); RSC 713 var. (same). Near VF, light porosity, shallow cleaning marks on reverse, short edge split. Rare with bust left.
