Soapstone seal. Western Semitic, circa 9th–7th centuries BC. Scaraboid with bidirectional piercing through center. On face, man advancing left, holding two fishing hooks in left hand, net in right.
Dimensions: 21x12mm. See Malter 58 (25 June 1994), lot 69 for similar. Intact with minor chips on top of scarab and on sides, otherwise a nice example of type.
