Bronze ring inset with glass and glass paste. Byzantine, 5th-8th centuries. A bronze ring with several past insets in white and blue around the bezel and upper portion of the arms. A piece of clear glass in inset in a central bezel. Ring size: British N½ , US 7 (approx. 18mm diameter). Loss of some paste insets and slightly bent band, otherwise in good condition.
