Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Denarius (19mm, 2.97 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck AD 199-201. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Salus standing left, extending right hand to figure kneeling right, holding scepter entwined by serpent in left. RIC IV 42b; RSC 558 var. (not cuirassed). Good VF, light porosity.
