Head of Roma right, wearing winged helmet ornamented with griffin’s head, the visor in three pieces and peaked, earring of pellets and pearl necklace, hair arranged in three symmetrical locks; X (mark of value) to left; all within laurel wreath / Mars, helmeted, holding shield on left arm and with right encircling the goddess Nerio, in quadriga galloping right; the hands of the goddess appear to be bound behind her; CN • GE[?] below; ROMA in exergue.
