American Numismatic Society. Cast AR Medal (83mm, 630.90 g, 12h). Presented to 1988 Endowment Campaign Donors of $5000 or More. By Jánós Kalmár. Two part sterling silver medal from the American Numismatic Society. When closed, the design represents a hand examining a coin inscribed with artist’s mark. Interior of openwork portion is the ANS logo and the phrase “The American Numismatic Society”; solid side echoes the design when the two parts are put together; on back is “ANS”.
