HADRIAN. 117-138 AD. Æ Sestertius (27.40 gm). Struck 117 AD. Laureate bust right, drapery on left shoulder / Trajan standing right presenting a globe to Hadrian who is standing left. RIC II 534b; BMCRE 1101 note; Cohen 523. Good VF, reddish brown patina on the obverse, reverse a bit darker with some green, surfaces a bit rough and lightly smoothed. Hadrian's first sestertius issue! ($1000)
