CARACALLA. 198-217 AD. AR Denarius (3.42 gm). Struck 210 AD. Laureate head right / Caracalla on horseback galloping left, about to spear an enemy on the ground before. RIC IV 118b; BMCRE 39; RSC 487. Good VF. Very rare, only two other recorded specimens, one in the BM and the other in Vienna. ($300)
