Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AV Aureus (19mm, 6.98 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, AD 146-161. DIVA AVGVS TA FAVSTINA, draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls on top of her head / PIE TAS AVG, Pietas standing left, sacrificing over altar and holding incense box. RIC III 394c (Pius); Calicó 1794. Near VF, numerous small marks, ex jewellery with solder mark on Pietas.
