Commodus. AD 177-192. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.70 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 189. Laureate head right / Jupiter standing left, holding thunderbolt and inverted spear. RIC III 192 corr. (spear instead of scepter); MIR 18, 754-4/30 corr. (same); RSC 387 corr. (same). Good VF, toned, weakly struck on the reverse, ragged edge, minor green deposits.
