Draped bust right, wearing stephane / Astarte standing facing, with left foot on prow, holding stylis in right hand, extending left toward column surmounted by crowning Nike. Sawaya 2360ff var. (D396/– [unlisted rev. die]). Good Fine, earthen green-brown patina.
All of the reverse dies for this type listed by Sawaya for Valerian I, Gallienus, and Salonina show Astarte’s left hand close to her body and holding an aphlaston. On this die she extends her left towards the column.
