THESSALY, Krannon. Circa 460-420 BC. AR Hemidrachm (14mm, 2.86 g, 9h). Thessalos, nude but for petasos and cloak tied at neck, standing right, holding band across horns of forepart of bull leaping right / Forepart of bridled horse left; diagonal trident in background; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 110 (same dies). VF, toned, porous, struck with worn dies, large die break on reverse (diagnostic for die).
