Theodosius II. AD 402-450. AV Solidus (20mm, 4.45 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck AD 441-450. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear and shield / Constantinopolis seated left, holding globus cruciger and scepter, foot on prow; star to left; COMOB. RIC X 314; Depeyrot 84/1. Good VF, a few minor marks, some deposits. Rare.
