strategos. Laureate head right / [ΛA]OVXOV ΣTPA[THΓOV], horse standing left, its reins being held by Thessalia standing facing, holding grain ear and poppy in left hand. Burrer Em. 2, Series 1, Group 2, 57.1 corr. (A20/R41 – this coin, rev. illustrated on pl. 11; arrangement of rev. legend) = Moustaka pl. 12, 129 = RPC I 1441.2 (this coin); BCD Thessaly II 937 corr. (same rev. die, incorrectly citing Burrer 57). VF, brown patina, marks on cheek. Rare.
