GERMANIC, possibly Ostrogothic. Zoomorphic bronze fibula. Circa 4nd - 5th century AD (5.2 cm). Stylized horse with saddle and decorated legs made up of two joined parts which hold the pin, in form of tail with lever, which fits into back of horse's head. Perfectly intact with fine green patina. ($500)
