SICILY, Entella. L. Sempronius Atratinus. Circa 36 BC. Æ Semis (20mm, 7.27 g, 1h). Radiate and draped bust of Sol / Tyche standing left, holding phiale or grain ear in right hand, cornucopia in left. Campana 20; CNS 16; HGC 2, 239; RPC I 653. Fine, brown patina.

The name of Atratinus also appears on issues of Lilybaeum (RPC 655), Sparta (RPC 1101), Antony’s ‘fleet coinage’ struck in Greece (RPC 1653-61), and an uncertain mint in northwest Asia Minor (RPC 2226).
