MAURETANIA, Iol-Caesarea. Late 3rd-2nd century BC. Æ Quarter Unit (17mm, 2.41 g, 7h). Head of Isis left / Three grain ears. MAA 146; cf. SNG Copenhagen 680-3. Near VF, dark green patina, some roughness.
From the Continental Collection.
SNG Copenhagen records several different combinations of letters on the obverse and reverse. A Punic “T” seems to be behind the head on this and the previous coin, otherwise no controls are discernible.
