BULGARIA, Tsardom. Boris III. 1918-1943 . Lot of seven (7) CU-NI, NI-clad Steel, FE, and AR Denominations. Lot includes the following denominations:

(78.1) CU-NI 5 Leva (26mm, 8.07 g, 12h). Dated 1930. KM 39; Y 36. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Gem faintly toned uncirculated. Only one graded higher in 66.

(78.2) FE 5 Leva (26mm, 8.02 g, 12h). Dated 1941. KM 39a; Y 36a. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 61. Highest ever graded specimen. Coins struck during WW II in the Balkans tend to be in lesser grades.

(78.3) NI-clad Steel 5 Leva (26mm, 8.08 g, 12h). Dated 1943. KM 39b; Y 36b. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Choice brilliant uncirculated with a hint of patina. Highest ever graded.

(78.4) CU-NI 10 Leva (30mm, 11.09 g, 12h). Dated 1930. KM 40; Y 37. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Nice uncirculated specimen with a hint of toning.

(78.6) AR 20 Leva (21mm, 4.05 g, 6h). Budapest mint. Dated 1930 BP. KM 41; Y 38. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Choice toned uncirculated with just a hint of amber patina.

(78.7) CU-NI 20 Leva (21mm, 4.03 g, 6h). Berlin mint. Dated 1940 A. KM 47; Y 42. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Gem BU with a hint of iridescence. One year only type and only one graded higher in 65.
