(1777.1) AR Half Real (15mm, 1.60 g, 6h). Nueva Guatemala mint. Dated 1872. KM 147; Y 37. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Toned gem with choice surfaces and color. A two year only type, and this the only specimen ever graded for either date. Scarce.

(1777.2) AR Half Real (15mm, 1.57 g, 6h). Nueva Guatemala mint. Dated 1878. KM 147a.1; Y 37a. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Choice brilliant uncirculated and a faint hint of amber patina. The finer of two graded of this two year type.
