PARAGUAY, Republic. 1811-pres. AR Peso (37mm, 24.97 g, 6h). Buenos Aires mint. Dated 1889. KM 5; Y 5. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Superb uncirculated specimen with a hint of violet toning overall. Only two graded higher, one at 65 and one at 66. The lion has a full nose. Many of these were melted from the original mintage, and are thus very hard to find in this nice grade.
