HANOVER. George III. 1760-1820. AR Dollar – Five Shillings (41mm, 26.39 g, 12h). Bank of England issue. Dated 1804. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Britannia seated left, holding olive branch and spear, leaning upon Union shield; cornucopia below, beehive in background to left; all within collar surmounted by five-turreted façade and inscribed FIVE SHILLINGS/DOLLAR. ESC 144; SCBC 3768. Good VF, lightly toned, scratches and light marks. Overstruck on an 1801 Lima 8 Reales.
