Silver gilt fibula. Roman, 1st-2nd centuries AD. Silvered bronze fibula in the form of a facing bust of a boy, flanked by cornucopiae(?) above dolphins. Simple pin attachment on back.
Maximum width: 30mm. Pin intact with much of the silvering remaining. Encrustation, particularly heavy on the back.
