INDIA, Colonial. British India. George V. 1910-1936. Terracotta counterfeiters’ moulds. Includes one obverse mould and two reverse moulds, each used for making casts of official CU-NI 2 Annas and 4 Annas from the Calcutta mint. The 2 Annas dated 1933 (see KM 516), the 4 Annas dated 1919 (see KM 519). Diameter of each mould approximately 51mm. Scratches and light chips, but intact. Interesting.
