LOKRIS, Lokri Opuntii. Circa 350-340 BC. AR Stater (23mm, 11.94 g, 8h). Wreathed head of Persephone left / Ajax, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, advancing right on rocks, holding sword and shield decorated with palmette and griffin; spear below. BCD Lokris 457.2 (same dies); BMC 28; Jameson 1147. VF, toned. Well centered on a broad flan. Fine style.
