JUDAEA, Uncertain. Late 1st to early 2nd century CE. Æ (18mm, 3.65 g, 12h). Imitating a Judaea Capta type of Vespasian. V [...] ΓV [...], laureate head right / [I]OYAΔ[...], Palm tree; to left, Jewess, in attitude of mourning, seated left on cuirass; to right, male figure (Vespasian or bound captive) standing left. Cf. Hendin 1504 and 1509 (sestertius; for prototype); otherwise unpublished. Near VF, earthen brown and green patina. Apparently unique.
