Constantine V Copronymus, with Leo IV and Leo III. 741-775. AV Solidus (19mm, 3.97 g, 6h). Syracuse mint. Struck 751-775. Crowned facing busts of Constantine, bearded, and Leo IV, beardless, each wearing chlamys; cross on staff of pellets between / Crowned facing bust of Leo III, wearing loros and holding cross potent. Cf. DOC 15a (for short cross); Anastasi 294c; cf. SB 1565 (same). Good VF, areas of flat strike. Rare pelleted long cross variety.
