Struck circa 800-821. + C◊ENVVLF REX, diademed and draped bust right / PO d E L+ in arms of long cross-crosslet with lozenge-shaped panel at center containing pellet-in-annulet surrounded by four pellets. Naismith E13.3e = EMC 2010.0055 (this coin); SCBI 20 (Mack), 590 var. (rev. legend, no annulet in center of rev.); BMC 91 var. (no annulet in center of rev.); North 370; SCBC 920. Good VF, toned, light porosity, faint circulation marks under tone. Rare.
