Struck before late December 1847. Pair of doves, one in flight toward other standing in nest; POTOSI below nest / Lighted and garlanded hexagonal altar. Cf. Fonrobert 9462 and 9462a (for type, but in gold); cf. Baldwin’s 53, lot 2599 (same). VF, toned, holed for suspension, small areas of exposed core on reverse.
