ITALY, Napoli (Regno). Filippo II di Spagna. 1554-1598. AR Mezzo Ducato (35mm, 14.77 g, 11h). Second Period. Napoli (Naples) mint; Germano Ravaschieri, mintmaster, Vincenzo Porzio, trial master. Dated 1575. Radiate and cuirassed bust right; (GR) to left, (VP) and date below bust / Crowned coat-of-arms; shield within ornate frame. Cf. CNI XX 1033 (for type); Pannuti-Riccio 19a; MIR 174/7. VF, toned, light scratches in obverse field, scrape on reverse.
