CELTIC, Central Europe. Rhineland. 100-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 12mm, 1.63 g 11), ‘Nauheim Type’. Male head to right, wearing two torques and with his hair in large curls.
Rev. Winged ‘bird-man’ to left, holding a large torque. CCCBM II, 534-536. De la Tour 9388- SLM 1116. A nice piece with a dark patina. Good very fine.
