2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab (18x12mm). Base engraved with a coiled cord pattern. Cf. Niccacci 287; cf. NFA, 16. A few chips, crack and slight discoloration from mount on back, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
