Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Sestertius (35.5mm, 23.31 g, 6h). Paduan engraved by Giovanni Cavino (1500-1570). IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M T P P C V, laureate head right / ROMA RESVRGES, Vespasian, togate, standing left, lifting up figure kneeling left; behind her, Roma standing right, holding shield; S•C in exergue. Klawans 4. Good VF, flan crack and striking flaws, once cleaned and now retoning. Overstruck on either an ancient sestertius or a Paduan copy of Trajan, with his profile visible before the portrait of Vespasian.
