CELTIC, North Pannonia. Circa late 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (12.18 gm). Reiterstumpf or Kroisbach type. Diademed, beardless head right, with broken nose / Horseman riding left, showing only his torso, his hair bound with diadem and tied into a topknot. CCCBM I 152 (same dies); Göbl, OTA 469; Kostial 743. Choice EF and rare. Superior to the published examples. ($2000)
