CILICIA, Tarsos. Tarkumuwa (Datames). Satrap of Cilicia and Cappadocia, 384-361/0 BC. AR Obol (9mm, 0.74 g, 1h). Struck circa 380 BC. Draped bust of female (Aphrodite?) right, wearing tainia, hoop earring, and pearl necklace / Bearded head right, wearing crested Attic helmet, drapery around neck; TRKMW (in Aramaic) to right. Casabonne Series 1; Göktürk 25; SNG France 278–81; SNG Levante 81; Sunrise 51 (this coin). Superb EF, attractively toned, a couple tiny die breaks on obverse. Well centered on excellent metal.
