Diademed head right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ MIΘPAΔATOY EYΠATOPOΣ, stag grazing left; to left, star-in-crescent above monogram, BIΣ (year) above monogram; IA (month) below; all within Dionysiac wreath of ivy and fruit. Callataÿ dies D3/R1, b (this coin); M.J. Price, “Mithradates VI Eupator, Dionysus, and the Coinages of the Black Sea” in NC 1968, pl. I, 6 = RG 16, pl. suppl.
