ANTONIA AVGVSTA, bareheaded and draped bust right, wearing hair in long plait at back / TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, S C across field, Claudius, veiled and togate, standing left, holding simpulum in right hand and resting left on his side. RIC I 92 (Claudius); von Kaenel Type 59 (unlisted dies); BMCRE 166-7 (Claudius); BN 143-51 (Claudius). Near EF, brown patina, some red and green, a few minor pits. Portrait of artistic merit.
