Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.22 g, 12h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 146-161. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls / AVGV STA, Aeternitas (or Ceres), veiled and draped, standing left, holding torch in right hand. RIC III 362 (Pius); Strack 468; RSC 104; BMCRE 421 (Pius). Superb EF, lustrous. Well struck.
