IMP CAES P HELV PE RTINAX AVG, laureate head right / VOT DEC[EN TR P CO]S II, S C across field, Pertinax, veiled and togate, standing left, holding volumen in left hand and sacrificing out of patera in right over lighted tripod to left. RIC IV 24; Banti 22; BMCRE 44. Fine, brown, slightly granular surfaces, some pitting on reverse. Bold portrait.
