IVLIA SOAEMIAS AVG, draped bust right, wearing stephane / VENVS CAELESTIS, S C low across field, Venus Caelestis, draped, standing left, holding apple in right hand and scepter in left; star low in left field. RIC IV 402; Thirion 385 var. (star in right field); Banti 4 var. (same); BMCRE 375-6 (Elagabalus). VF, dark brown patina, some red and green, some deposits, areas of doubling on reverse. Rare.
