IONIA, Uncertain. Late 7th Century BC. EL Trite (4.80 gm). Milesian standard. Incuse square against a background pattern of parallel striations / Double incuse punch. Cf. SNG Kayhan 679 (possibly the same type, but a very worn example). Good VF. ($1000) 

The "type" of incuse square against a striated background is apparently unknown, but the background treatment is similiar to that of the goat and cock types listed as Weidauer 10-26, also on the Milesian weight standard.
