LUCANIA, Velia. Circa 334-300 BC. AR Nomos (20.5mm, 7.50 g, 3h). Kleudoros group. Helmeted head of Athena left; monogram behind neck / Lion standing left, devouring prey; tiny A above, monogram below. Williams 347 (O179/R252); HN Italy 1296. VF, dark toning, struck with worn dies, a few tiny deposits on obverse.
